2008 Election Gear
July 11th, 2007As you may already know, Mitt Romney should be president. I’m not sure why, but all the sudden I have this huge interest in the 2008 elections. Perhaps it’s because I’ve been brainwashed by those guys on talk radio that are running the country. Maybe I just want a Mormon to be president. It could just be that Mitt Romney is fricking cool! Either way, I really want this guy to be president.
I am so interested in his campaign that I’ve actually considered buying Mitt Romney merchandise. Yes, that’s right Mitt Romney has a store on his website where you can buy various items with his name on it. In fact many of the candidates have stores. I found this all quite humorous. Here’s a few examples of the things that you can go and buy:
Kids for Mitt Romney!
Mitt Romney is all about families. That’s why the Romney store provides opportunities for all members of your family to show their support. Now even infants can show their support for Mitt with this “Kids for Mitt!” bib! It’s the perfect item for any kid to sport during an afternoon picnic.
Ron Paul Maternity T-Shirt
Ron Paul is one of the most unique of the Republican candidates. Unlike most of the other candidates he is in favor of non-intervention. He’s also the only candidate to consider maternity needs. All of the candidates have T-Shirts, but Ron Paul was the only one to realize that such t-shirts are useless if you can’t fit in it.
FireFighters for Rudy
We can’t forget about Rudy. We all know how much firefighters love Rudy so expect to see this sticker on every fire engine in New York in no time!
Barak Obama T-shirts
Barak’s gear is by far the most trendy of the presidential hopefuls. You’ll be surprised at how in style you’ll look with some of his t-shirts. Everyone can find something that can fit them. One of the more popular items is this pink t-shirt. Admit it girls! Who wouldn’t want to have a picture of Barak’s face plastered all over their chest?
What about everyone else?
Sorry, but not everyone has a store out there. I tried really hard to find some great gear for the Hilary Clinton fans out there. I was really hoping for Hilary panties, but alas my search was in vain. There are people selling gear with Hilary’s name on it, but they all hate her. Go figure…
I also tried to find stuff for Jack Thompson, but I couldn’t find anything. I’m hoping once he announces he’s going to run he’ll put a store up. Expect to see Law and Order boxed sets.
Sorry I couldn’t get to all of the candidates. There’s just so many choices, and I think it’s a shame that not everyone gets their fair share of attention. If your canidate wasn’t represented here remember that you can always post comments to this article. I’d love to see what sort of things you guys could dig up.

Yeah I’m being sarcastic there. The firefighters in New York hate Rudy, that’s why it’s so funny that you can get a firefighters for Rudy sticker.

I’m writing in response to the 2008 Election Gear you were talking about for Mitt Romney. First of all, I do think the gear is quite catchy, I went to the official website and I almost pulled out my credit card….as for himself being a Latter-day Saint or better known as “mormon”, I think it would be great for him to be the new President. His views on life are so profound and it actually makes sense to me. He has values that support strong families and being a financially sound country along with so many more thoughts about becoming a better country and uniting as a country to make this world better. Who wouldn’t want someone like that running the United States of America? Anyways, I’ll vote for him hands down and I think that those of you who read this reply should look further into his campaign and read about what he wants to do. Oh, and mormons don’t have multiple wives anymore, that was banned in the church over 100 years ago….
